Chrome users will love the 45th version do to its drastically reduced RAM usage

The Chrome browser is loved by for its simplicity and power. Some users have made many complaints because it’s power consumptive and uses far too much memory that one of its rival. With the new Chrome 45, all that changes and will keep Chrome users happy, as the browser will now be proactive about how it uses your computer’s resources.

As you may know, all idle tabs consume different percent of memory, will now the unused memory clean up via garbage collection takes place on idle tabs, and has become especially powerful for complex Web apps. Google stated that it sees a 10 percent reduction of memory usage on average with the new version, but complex Web apps like Gmail see up to 25 percent reduction in memory used.

The Flash suspension impact

Chrome’s Flash suspension feature, which pauses Flash content on a website that you access, will now become a standard setting. This will help your battery last up to 15 percent longer and even help get back the extra power Chrome uses versus other browsers.

Another new feature will enable you and extra power by autoloading often used tabs when restarting ahead of other.

Additionally, Chrome will now monitor the resources available for it to use. If your computer doesn’t have the resources Chrome needs, background activity on tabs will be paused until you click on them, which is really a neat feature.

It’s all welcome news for Chrome users, and may even have some who’ve edged away from using Chrome give it another try.
