Google is starting to think like a real person and focuses on long tail keywords

Google has become an artificial intelligence and is starting to think like a real person, which means that it has evolved to the point where it sees links and reads them with a more enlightened way.

The evolution and especially the use of long tail keywords is due to that fact that people who are using Google for their searches have already been trained the sky is the limit. This is why adding more than 2-3 word into the google search box is starting to gain track. People are starting to use google as an answer for their question. Let’s say you are a casino affiliate, and you would like to know if a certain affiliate program is paying tailored CPA, you head over to your computer, you type in your search box the following keywords: “casino affiliate program CPA”. The search pulls up a huge number of hits that are showing affiliate programs that offer CPA. Realizing that you need to simplify your search, you narrow it down and rewrite the inquiry and you search for: “Which casino affiliate program offers tailored CPA?”.

You will notice that only the programs that have worked on their long tail keywords and have added these options show up. You are happy and you get to choose from a smaller group of results that are targeted for your search.

This way you have narrowed your search down to a the most relevant casino affiliate programs and you probably are down to a making a final decision between 2 or 3 programs that offer tailored CPA.

The idea of long tail keyword is the have a greater relevancy for a targeted question in the search results.

Each and every Google algorithm updates is towards a more human frame of mind and the search giant is really starting to listen, think and respond like a human would do in delivering you the relevant answers.

If you want to research the impact of long tail keywords, you will find that pages that are optimized for long-tail keywords usually move up 11-12 positions on average, compared to just 5 positions for head keywords. The conversion rates for long tail keywords is 2.5 times higher than for the short keywords, which will make your program convert better.

So, as a conclusion, using long tail keywords will improve your SEO and get you better conversions, you will benefit of less competition in the search result, you use an easy, meaningful, specific content, you achieve better rankings, not to mention this way you are writing more pages and of course more content.
