Latvia sets live casino licence fee at €400,000

Latvia’s parliament has announced that the licence fee for live casino services in the country will now set at €400,000 ($475,900) per year.

The fee will be implemented from January 1 and apply to all operators that wish to offer live casino in Latvia.

Evolution Gaming, which specialises in live casino and dealer games, confirmed the news in a statement on its website, saying that the new fee is an amendment to an earlier decision.

Previously, a variable fee of €11,700 per live casino table per year had been up for discussion, but has now seemingly been discarded in favour of an overall fee.
