Kongebonus launches ‘Bransjekontakter’ hub of iGaming industry contacts
Kongebonus has launched Bransjekontakter, an “Industry Contacts” editorial hub that compiles what senior iGaming figures have told the publication about how games and casino products are built, priced and distributed. The hub is live at www.kongebonus.com/bransjekontakter.
The company said the hub publishes contributor profiles based on published interviews, direct contact and externally documented information, covering topics including slot mathematics, volatility modelling, jackpot architecture, and online casino and bonus buy pricing. Kongebonus said it uses these interview insights to update and strengthen relevant editorial pages with attribution to the original source.
Kongebonus said it has published 16 contributor profiles so far. Named contributors include Nik Robinson of Big Time Gaming, Fredrik Elmqvist, founder of Yggdrasil Gaming and now CEO of EXCO Game Studio, and Jamie Boyle of Nolimit City, alongside contacts at Slotmill, Thunderkick, Print Studios, Bullshark Games and Stormcraft Studios.
Kongebonus said contributors do not pay for inclusion and do not approve copy before publication or see profiles in advance, with editorial control retained by the Kongebonus team.
David Nilsen, Editor-in-Chief at Kongebonus, said: “Bransjekontakter is the most valuable thing we have built because it compounds. Every interview leaves us knowing something new about slot mathematics, game production, feature pricing or how casinos build their game lobbies, and every one of those insights feeds back into the pages it can make more accurate.
“Over two years, that develops a body of knowledge that no amount of desk research can replicate. The people named here are the reason it exists, and we wanted that on the record rather than buried in an article from last spring.”
