We are excited to announce that the “Regulated Central and Eastern European jurisdictions” compliance panel discussion will be joined by Petrica Soptelea (EEME Senior Sales & Account Manager at Magellan Robotech), who will bring the opinion from the operations side of the gambling industry in the region.

As announced earlier, the panel discussion will be moderated by Gambling Industry Expert and MARE BALTICUM Gaming Summit Ambassador, Andrius Gabnys (Attorney At Law – Gabnys Law Firm) and will be joined by Dan Iliovici (Vice President at Rombet), Georgi Dimitrov (Legal Counsel / Compliance at EGT Interactive), Jan Řehola (Director at IFGR and Partner at PS Legal) and Jaka Repanšek (Media and Gaming Expert).

Petrica Soptelea started his career in Sales, Marketing and Operations Management working for international companies like Coca Cola, European Drinks, Air Liquide.

He joined Stanley Leisure PLC in 2003. At that time, Stanleybet was the United Kingdom’s largest casino operator and fourth-largest operator of betting shops.

In more of 15 years of career in Stanleybet he covered different roles at Global level. He lead operations in Romania as General manager in Romania, in Cyprus as Country Manager and in Peru with a development role.

Petrica recently joined the Software Company of the Group, Magellan Robotech, becoming part of the Commercial team managed by the new CCO Christian Maglia.

While continuing to provide expertise to the Group for the Retail operations, the new focus as Senior Sales & Account Manager is on the B2B aspects of the business. Magellan Robotech as betting software provider is becoming one of the most important investments for Stanleybet Group, having already acquired customers in several European countries, but also approaching new markets in Africa and in Latin America.

The 2019 edition of CEEGC Budapest takes place on the 24th of September at The Ritz-Carlton Budapest and welcomes some of the biggest names of the online and land-based gambling industry from all around Europe with an emphasis on Central and Eastern Europe, North America, D-A-CH region and the Balkans.

EveryMatrix acquires Goma Gaming to boost front-end development firepower

EveryMatrix has acquired UX specialist Goma Gaming to boost the Group’s front-end development firepower.

Specialising in delivering innovative front-end solutions for the betting industry, the Goma Gaming team bring 20 years consumer product design and digital UX experience.

The acquisition will instantly enhance EveryMatrix’s existing front-end capabilities with experience from both sports betting and casino projects that have included delivering bespoke solutions for tier-1 brands.

The Goma team will continue to operate as a standalone unit, side-by-side with the existing EveryMatrix front-end division.

Its capacity will be upscaled to provide additional bandwidth and capabilities to the Group’s sports and casino products with the objective of delivering superior customer experience and even more alternatives for EveryMatrix clients.

Goma Gaming’s UX player experience platform has delivered strong results for tier-1 operators, generating higher retention and longer engagement with an average 30% margin uplift, while adding enhanced functionality for next generation players.
