Swedish betting group Betsson and multi-brand betting services provider TR Media have become members of the Swedish Gambling Association (Sper), a trade group of gambling industry.
The association has presently 18 members, including IGT, SG Digital, Raketech and ATG. “The gaming industry has to pull together and take joint responsibility for its development,” Sper president Jenny Nilzon said. “Betsson joining Sper shows that the issue is being taken seriously, while having TR Media involved is also incredibly valuable.”
Speaking about joining Sper, TR Media CEO Daniel Livensjö said: “For us, it is important to promote a healthy, modern and sustainable gaming industry, but also to learn more about the guidelines for marketing and gaming. Therefore, we are very pleased to have been accepted as a member of Sper.”
