
Ohio’s gambling regulator has released financial results of the four approved casinos in the state. The casinos reported a 5 per cent increase in revenues compared to that in the previous year.
Hollywood Casino Toledo reported a 3 per cent increase to US$16.7 million in August, up from the US$16.2 registered during the same month last year. Hollywood Casino Columbus totalled US$18.4 million in revenue, a 1 per cent rise when compared to August 2017, when the facility collected US$18.2 million.
Moreover, Jack Cincinnati Casino reported the highest revenue increase last month, as revenue was up 15 per cent from US$15.4 million to US$17.7 million. Jack Cleveland Casino totalled revenue of US$17.5 million, or a 4 per cent increase year-on-year.
Revenue results for the first eight months of the year increase to US$560 million statewide, which represents a 2 per cent increase when compared to the same period in 2017.
Penn National and Jack Entertainment hold the rights of the four casinos in the state.
