Xcademy is pleased to announce it has launched its education hub. Founded by Gen-Zer Joel Morris, aka JMX, who has an online audience of over 3.5 million across YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and snapchat, he is driven to use his experience to help Generation-Z benefit from a safe, secure and responsible online environment within which courses teach students how to play Fortnite, taught by world renowned pro-player Benjyfishy, as well as promote confidence building and teach life skills.
Joel Morris, Co-Founder of Xcademy said, “The number of online personalities and desire of younger people to emulate them is growing exponentially. However, there is no solution to help young people prepare for the trials, tribulations and potential rewards of using social media to build an online audience. The Xcademy e-learning solution has been designed specifically to serve young people through engaging and entertaining content, provided by some of the most well known online personalities and pro-players like Benjyfishy that will help students to become pro-gamers, as well as build confidence and learn other important life skills.
“Having been through the ups and downs of being in the public eye as an online personality and suffered my own challenges such as depression, anorexia and cyber-bullying, the process has taught me many valuable life skills, so it’s exciting to offer a service like Xcademy.”
Xcademy has been co-founded by ecommerce and technology specialist Oliver Bell. The e-learning hub is designed to teach students how to play Fortnite, as well as valuable life skills and extra-curricular education, helping to nurture the growing number of young people who want to become online personalities and amass large audiences by using social media channels such as YouTube. The 12-month course costs £5.99 per month. Upon successful completion, certain students will be mentored and tutored further by Xcademy in order to help them pursue their ambitions.
Oliver Bell, Co-Founder of Xcademy added, “By providing educational courses that teach young people important life skills and how to always improve, the ultimate goal for Xcademy is to cultivate talent and mentor them further. Learning from our own experiences we have built a secure online education hub that we believe allays parental concerns that their children are spending too much time watching material that is serving them little to no benefit. Xcademy provides extra-curricular courses and parents can be safe in the knowledge that the courses deliver responsible learning skills.”
As well as being taught how to become a pro Fortnite player, some of the life skills that young people can expect to learn by undertaking the Xcademy course are:
– Organisation
– Communication
– Confidence
– Motivation
– Creativity
– Presenting
– Positive thinking
– Problem solving
Other benefits of having access to the portal include:
– Monitored forums that encourage engagement
– Ability to meet like minded people
– Track progress and earn rewards
– Entertainment via gamification
The Xcademy e-learning portal is highly secure, ensures prevention of activity from bad actors and includes a strict profanity filter. The profanity filter censors out any bad language and also any personal details that students may attempt to share, such as telephone numbers and email addresses. The only place students can communicate with each other within the Xcademy portal is the forums which are also all public facing and are monitored 24/7.

MightyTips has been shortlisted for the SiGMA Africa Awards 2025 in the Best Sportsbook Affiliate category. The award ceremony will occur in Cape Town, South Africa, on March 10, 2025.
This award highlights and recognises affiliates who successfully drive traffic to online sportsbooks, provide additional insight for sports bettors, and create meaningful collaborations that help boost engagement for all parties.
MightyTips will compete for the Best Sportsbook Affiliate award against industry titans such as Flashscore and Sofascore, among other contenders. A total of 24 awards will be handed out throughout the evening.
MightyTips highlights
The nomination follows a year of growth for the online sports portal. MightyTips provides comprehensive bookmaker reviews and daily free football tips and predictions across various leagues and tournaments, including the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, and UEFA Champions League, which are highly popular with African audiences. The platform generates consistent African traffic, with Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and Uganda being the biggest sources.
In 2024, MightyTips expanded its portfolio of multilingual sites to 18 and launched the MightyQs interview series, which illuminates partnerships between sportsbooks and high-profile sports organisations and personas. The latest instalment explores MelBet’s role as the Juventus FC’s Official Regional Partner in Africa and the Middle East.
Another highlight of the year came in September 2024 as MightyTips ambassador, an undefeated pro boxer Jevgenijs “The Hurricane” Aleksejevs claimed the IBO European Middleweight Championship belt, helping to improve the brand’s visibility among sports fans.
Eugene Ravdin, Head of Communications and Marketing at MightyTips, said: “We are thrilled to be nominated for the Best Sportsbook Affiliate at the SiGMA Africa Awards. We are working hard to reach African bettors and are delighted to receive recognition. It is great to see our work and proactive approach rewarded.
