Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment Completes Executive Leadership Team Build Out with Seasoned Global Talent

MGE Appoints Michael Silberling as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Tom Smock as Senior Vice President & General Counsel
Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) operators of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and Pennsylvania and manager of multiple properties throughout the United States and internationally, announced the appointment of two new senior executive staff members to support its growing and dynamic brand. The introduction of Michael Silberling as Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Tom Smock as Senior Vice President & General Counsel, round out the core executive leadership team MGE has purposely been developing over the last 12 months.
The latest appointments of Silberling and Smock position MGE for success in achieving the long-term goal of becoming a worldwide industry leader in integrated entertainment resort development and management. Both Silberling and Smock will officially begin to apply their expertise in early October as MGE enters a new fiscal year.

Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment officially introduces Michael Silberling to the executive team as SVP and Chief Operating Officer on October 8th, bringing over 30 years of experience in leading all facets of multiple global integrated resorts across the U.S. and internationally. Prior to joining MGE, Silberling served as CEO for Affinity Gaming, where he led a business turnaround which created significant guest service and operating margin improvements. Prior to that, Silberling was President of International Operations for Caesars Entertainment and Managing Director for London Clubs International, where he oversaw 15 casinos across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As the new SVP and General Counsel of Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment, Tom Smock officially joined the company on October 1st to lead MGE’s legal and compliance functions. Smock brings more than 20 years of experience as an executive and in-house General Counsel at various casino gaming companies such as Aristocrat Technologies and Penn National Gaming, with significant experience in Macau, China and South America. Prior to MGE, Smock was SVP and General Counsel & Compliance Chair for all of the Las Vegas Sands Asian-based companies, where he was instrumental in the development and opening of the region’s first foreign-owned casino, Sands Macau, and also supported the development of the Venetian Macau and the internationally known Cotai Strip.

The UAE Lottery Launches ‘Pick 4’ with Bigger Prizes & Daily Wins

The UAE Lottery has launched the latest daily draw game, Pick 4, giving players more chances to win big every day. For just AED 5 per entry, players can select a four-digit number between 0000 and 9999 for a chance to win up to AED 25,000.
Pick 4 marks another step in The UAE Lottery’s strategy to broaden its offerings and attract a wider range of players, while supporting its long-term vision of becoming a leading provider of innovative, regulated gaming in the region.
“Pick 4 is all about offering more choice, bigger daily prizes, and a fun, easy-to-play format,” said Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC. “The launch of Pick 4 complements our existing Pick 3 game by diversifying our daily draw options and delivering more opportunities to win — all while upholding our commitment to a safe, secure, and fully regulated player experience.”
Players can win across five prize categories, based on the number of matching digits and the order in which they appear:
• AED 25,000 – Match all four digits in the exact order
• AED 6,000 – Match any combination of three identical digits and one unique digit (Any 4)
• AED 4,000 – Match two pairs of identical digits in any order (Any 6)
• AED 2,000 – Match one pair and two unique digits in any order (Any 12)
• AED 1,000 – Match four unique digits in any order (Any 24)
Draws take place daily, with results posted on The UAE Lottery’s website and social media platforms. All games are fully licensed and regulated by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), ensuring a secure and transparent player experience.

GRID Acquires Bayes Esports Assets

The acquisition integrates strategic technology components developed by Bayes over nearly a decade, including live data trading solutions, prediction models, and fan engagement tools, into the GRID Data Platform. These technologies will now be powered exclusively by official esports data available only on GRID, accelerating product development and driving innovation across GRID’s entire portfolio, with a particular focus on GRID Bet, the company’s comprehensive solution for regulated esports betting.

From Super Stage to Estoril: SOFTSWISS Energises SBC Summit Lisbon 2025

The programme featured a Super Stage fireside chat with Founder Ivan Montik and F1 legend Rubens Barrichello, Non-Executive Director in LatAm at SOFTSWISS, Rubens Barrichello, plus a joint racing activation with SBC that drew steady crowds.
At one of the industry’s largest gatherings, SOFTSWISS placed practical insight and community engagement front and centre. On the Super Stage, Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWIS, joined F1 legend Rubens Barrichello for ‘Excellence Under Pressure: Evolving in a Fast-Moving Space,’ exploring how teams balance speed, reliability, and regulation.
The company also contributed to ‘Latin America First – The Home-Grown Operators Reinventing the Game,’ where Dario Leiman, Head of Business Development in Latin America at SOFTSWISS, shared regional growth takeaways and operator needs.
Off the stage, SOFTSWISS and SBC co-hosted remote-control racing on a true-to-scale Estoril circuit, with a showcase heat featuring Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, Rubens Barrichello, and Ivan Montik, before delegates took the wheel for open challenges and networking.
During the prestigious SBC Awards Europe 2025, SOFTSWISS has been recognised as Employer of the Year for the second year in a row. This accolade underlines the company’s commitment to building a people-first workplace culture.
At Stand B160, visitors also explored business opportunities and were invited to contribute to the upcoming 2026 iGaming Trends report.
