Brand awareness: Facebook Page Responses

A couple of days ago Facebook introduced a new feature that can raise your brand’s awareness and increase your brand’s quality in the eyes of the visitor.

The feature is related to the Customer Service your page provides for engaging users that send direct messages to your Facebook Page.

If you think about it, it is a really great feature and you get awarded with a badge that will show up for the viewers of your page demonstrating that your Costumer Service is worth approaching. No one likes to leave a message and get a reply after 2 or 3 days. You should pay attention to this, having a low Response Rate could decrease your sales and conversion.

The good part is that Facebook will not punish you by adding a sign or icon to your Facebook page if you don’t comply, but it is certainly something to consider.

All Page admins must Respond to 90% of the messages and maintain a median response time of 5 minutes for all replies that are sent to get a Very responsive to messages icon below their Page’s cover photo.

When your Page has the icon, anyone can see that your Page is very responsive to messages.

When your Page isn’t yet very responsive to messages, only people who help manage your Page can see responsiveness info below the Page’s cover photo.

Note: Only Pages that have allowed people to contact the Page will have responsiveness info.

In our opinion this is a really way to increase your page interactivity and your brand’s quality among the crowd of your clients and page friends.
