188Bet scores extension with Wigan Warriors

188Bet has agreed to renew its main sponsorship of English Super League rugby league club Wigan Warriors. The one-year deal will run for the duration of the 2018 season.

188Bet branding will continue to feature on the front of Wigan’s playing shirts.

The online betting operator has served as the team’s main sponsor since the 2016 season and previously worked with the club in 2010.

Kris Radlinski, executive director at Wigan Warriors, said: “The sponsorship landscape is such a competitive market place and over the last 18 months we have adopted a slightly different model whereby we have gone out and listened to our partners about their commercial objectives and then been creative in how we can help each other achieve our goals.

Many Wigan fans have been encouraging us to re-sign 188Bet and that shows their popularity. The engagement levels remain high and they have a great connection with our fans.
