Midnite Maximum Returns: 16 Fans to Win £1,000 for Every 147 at The Masters

Midnite, the official UK Betting and Casino Partner for the 2026 Johnstone’s Paint Masters, has announced the return of its fan-favorite Midnite Maximum initiative. This year, the promotion features a significant twist: instead of a single grand prize, Midnite is spreading the wealth among 16 lucky fans for every maximum break achieved during the tournament.

The Masters, snooker’s most prestigious invitation-only event, takes place at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) from January 11–18, 2026, featuring the world’s top 16 players.

How the Midnite Maximum Works

Building on the success of the 2025 World Championship—where fan Brian Nicholls won £25,000 following Mark Allen’s 147—the 2026 edition is designed to create more winners and more “shareable moments.”

  • The Prize: If a player hits a 147 break, 16 fans will each receive £1,000.

  • How to Enter: Fans attending any session at Alexandra Palace can enter by scanning QR codes or using iPads located throughout the venue.

  • Selection: 16 entrants will be randomly selected and announced before every session.

  • Eligibility: Participants must be aged 25 or over and residents of the UK.

A Record Year for 147s

The timing of the initiative aligns with an extraordinary season for maximum breaks. As of January 2026, the 2025/26 snooker season has already seen a record-breaking 17 maximum breaks, surpassing the previous full-season record of 15.

“This version of the Midnite Maximum allows us the chance to see 16 winners, meaning 16 different reactions… It’ll put fans right at the heart of the action while creating brilliant, shareable moments.” — Andrew Mook, Midnite’s Head of Brand Marketing.

WST Chief Commercial Officer Peter Wright added: “There have already been a record number of 147s this season, and with the best 16 players in the world at Alexandra Palace, let’s hope we can see that magical moment once again.”
