Sporting Index in market-first with Android launch

Sporting Index has become the first company to launch a sports spread betting mobile application on the Google Play Store.

The move comes shortly after Google opted to drop a long-standing ban on gambling and betting apps on the store.

The new app automatically synchronises with the desktop version, meaning players’ personal preferences will be instantly available upon log-in via mobile, desktop and tablet.

Jamie Adams, product manager at Sporting Index, said: “We’ve been fully focused on improving and developing the technological side of the company, so we’re pleased to be able to expand our reach with the new android app.

“It’s a tremendously exciting time at Sporting Index and the new Android app is just the start of a number of new innovations in the pipeline.

Sporting Index Group recently announced that it is to switch all its operations to a newly created ‘Sporting Group’ brand.

Sporting Index is the undisputed world leader in its sector, providing the most thrilling live sports betting experience to tens of thousands of customers around the globe.
