Tony Hinchcliffe headlines next PokerStars Big Game on Tour season
Season 3 episodes 6–10 stream weekly on PokerStars’ YouTube from November 8 to December 6.
PokerStars is bringing back PokerStars Big Game on Tour on Sunday, November 8, with American comedian and ‘Kill Tony’ host Tony Hinchcliffe headlining the new run of episodes.
The line-up also includes poker pro and content creator Doug Polk, high-stakes veteran Antonio Esfandiari, mixed games specialist Esther Taylor, and reality TV personality Princess Love. PokerStars said Canadian aspiring comedian Scott Gaughan will serve as this season’s “Loose Cannon”.
PokerStars is leaning into the Hinchcliffe-Polk rivalry as a storyline for the season. The company referenced a prior heads-up match between the pair where “Tony’s prize was $20,000, and Doug’s was a 1-minute slot on Kill Tony,” followed by a double-or-nothing rematch that PokerStars said Polk won.
Tony said: “I think Doug is great heads up, but his head will likely be down after playing against me”
Doug said: “Tony is used to having to perform under pressure. But for his sake I hope his poker game is a lot less hilarious than his jokes"
The show will continue using the Big Game format, with one amateur “Loose Cannon” staked $50,000 and keeping any profit. PokerStars said the first episode will air on the PokerStars YouTube channel on November 8, with weekly episodes on November 15, November 22, November 29, and a finale on December 6.
