RPM rolls out upgraded Pace and Edge cricket feeds ahead of BBL|16 opener in India
RPM announced on 05 November 2026 in London that it has introduced upgraded versions of its Pace and Edge cricket services ahead of the upcoming Australian Big Bash League season (BBL|16), which is scheduled to open in Chennai, India on December 12.
According to RPM, BBL|16 will start overseas when Melbourne Renegades play defending champions Perth Scorchers in Chennai, a move the company said is expected to increase viewership and betting engagement throughout the tournament.
RPM said Pace provides a direct data feed from the stadium and Edge is its proprietary pricing feed. The company said the services have been upgraded to support pre-match and in-play trading during T20 matches, with Edge incorporating local conditions such as temperature, humidity and wind into its calculations.
RPM said both services are API-ready and include operational consoles, and that ball tracking is delivered with 0.01 seconds of latency. The company said its pricing outputs have been modelled on more than 11 million deliveries and that historical and live statistics are available within the products.
Richard Thorp, Founder at RPM, said: “It’s critical that operators are well-equipped going into the busiest period of the cricketing calendar, featuring an amped-up BBL tournament with hundreds of millions of Indian fans more engaged than ever. Legacy pricing latency is a surefire way to bleed margin on record turnover; whereas our proprietary Edge and Pace feeds are proven to make the most of these opportune moments.
“Built strictly for the bottom line, these services give trading teams the speed they need to confidently execute high-volume action, pre-match and in-play, rather than spending their time mitigating risk. Together, they provide a potent combination that can be transformative for cricket performance whatever the trading strategy, geography, or target audience.”
RPM also said that following the latest improvements to its cricket services, its pricing service Edge will expand coverage to include tennis and football feeds, before adding US sports after that.
