Booming Games appoints Darja Roos as CFO
Former Yolo Group finance chief joins the Malta-based supplier as it continues building out its executive team.
Booming Games has appointed Darja Roos as its new Chief Financial Officer, adding another senior hire to its Malta-based executive team.
Roos joins the iGaming supplier after most recently serving as CFO of Yolo Group, following a senior finance role at GAN/Coolbet, according to the company.
In the role, Roos will lead Booming Games’ financial function and oversee accounting, reporting, auditing and compliance. She will work with Eric Saliba and the Malta finance team, and partner with the wider senior leadership group to support financial decision-making, Booming Games said.
“I’m delighted to be joining Booming Games as CFO and believe the 20+ years’ experience I’ve accumulated across iGaming, fintech and international business will enable me to bring a unique perspective to the role. With a strong team already in place and some very ambitious plans for the future, it’s an exciting chance for us to build a stronger, more efficient financial function, and I can’t wait to get started,” Roos said.
Ramona Petrina, Chief of Staff at Booming Games, added: “Darja brings exactly the blend of iGaming, governance and international finance experience we need at this stage of our growth. Alongside Eric and the Finance team, she’ll play a key role in building on our existing foundations and supporting our continued growth. We’re delighted to welcome her to the leadership team.”
