SIGA selects Bede Gaming to power BetSIGA iGaming platform
The Saskatchewan operator plans a Spring 2027 launch and will migrate players from the PlayNow platform it has run since November 2022.
Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has selected Bede Gaming as its new online gaming platform provider, the organizations said on November 3, 2026. The partnership will see the companies design, build and launch BetSIGA, accessible via a responsive website and iOS and Android apps.
“BetSIGA is an important next step in SIGA’s long-term digital gaming strategy,” said SIGA President & CEO Zane Hansen. “This will be our own platform, built with a partner that shares our commitment to safe, responsible and engaging play, and it will continue to share success with revenue distributed to support First Nation communities and Saskatchewan.”
SIGA said it expects to launch BetSIGA in Spring of 2027 following a competitive procurement process. The operator plans to replace its existing PlayNow platform, which it has operated in Saskatchewan as the province’s only legally recognized online gaming platform since November 2022.
Players will be migrated to BetSIGA, which SIGA said will be customized for Saskatchewan players and built on open, modular technology. The company said the platform is intended to support identity verification, geolocation, anti-money laundering, security, player protection and responsible gaming controls.
“This partnership extends far beyond technology implementation. It represents a significant opportunity to combine trusted technology, deep sector expertise and true operational collaboration. SIGA has a clear and ambitious vision for the future of gaming in Saskatchewan, and we are proud to support the team in building a connected digital ecosystem that will deliver exceptional player experiences and sustainable long-term value,” said Colin Cole-Johnson, Chief Executive Officer at Bede Gaming.
