Playson launches Blitz Mode to speed up play on selected slot titles
New interface lets players run 10 to 1,000 spins or unlimited, while Playson says game maths and probabilities remain unchanged.
Playson has launched Blitz Mode, a new fast-play feature for selected slot titles that the supplier says keeps the original game mathematics and winning probabilities unchanged.
Blitz Mode is accessed from the main game interface and allows players to choose 10 to 1,000 spins, or an unlimited option, via a dedicated accelerated display. The simplified interface is designed to show key session information in one place, including spins played, total winnings and top wins, with the option to stop at any time.
Playson said Blitz Mode is designed to preserve player choice during bonus events. If a Bonus Game is triggered, players can continue in the Blitz interface or return to the Main Game mode to view the original animations.
Anton Ivannikov, CPO at Playson, said: “Innovation does not always mean adding another mechanic to a game. Sometimes the opportunity is to rethink how players interact with an experience they already understand.
“With Blitz Mode, the game underneath remains the game players know, but the way they experience it can be completely different. That gives us room to innovate around speed, interface and player choice without compromising the product foundations that made those titles successful.”
Ben Wood, Chief Commercial Officer at Playson, added: “Operators today do not simply need more content; they need more ways to generate value from the content their audiences already recognise.
“Blitz Mode gives our partners another experience to offer around proven Playson titles while maintaining the game mathematics underneath. As the feature expands across our portfolio, it creates further opportunities for operators to differentiate how Playson content is presented to their players.” Playson said Blitz Mode is initially rolling out across top-performing titles and will be expanded further over time.
