FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will return to the Esports World Cup 2027, marking the fighting game’s third consecutive year in the event’s lineup, according to the Esports World Cup announcement.
The event pointed to a volatile 2026 tournament in Paris, where reigning 2025 EWC champion Goichi "GO1" Kishida withdrew due to health issues and 2025 runner-up Zeng "xiaohai" Zhuojun was eliminated in the first group stage.
