MGA Games rolls out Cheeky Pirates slot

The new 5x4 video slot launched on .com on 28 September and in Portugal on 28 October, with Spectral Respins and Free Spins features.

MGA Games has launched Cheeky Pirates, a new video slot now live in the .com market (28 September) and Portugal (28 October), the supplier said.

Cheeky Pirates is built on a 5x4 reel layout with medium volatility and a betting range of €0.20 to €30. MGA Games positions the title as its flagship release for Halloween 2026, while stating it is designed for year-round play.

The slot’s core mechanic is Spectral Respins, which the company said triggers when the first reel is fully filled with matching symbols. Those symbols lock in place and award two additional spins, with matching symbols and Wilds also locking to determine the final outcome.

MGA Games added that the Spectral Respins mechanic is enhanced during its Free Spins from Beyond feature by increasing the presence of Wilds. The supplier also said the game includes configurable options for operators, including the ability to enable or disable a bonus buy feature depending on jurisdiction, plus adjustable betting and exposure parameters.
