Blokotech confirms Bloko Padel Tour return in 2027 with expanded six-city season

Blokotech said on Wednesday (28 October 2026) that the Bloko Padel Tour will return in 2027 in partnership with SiGMA, expanding to a six-tournament season across Europe and Latin America. The announcement was made ahead of the Bloko Padel Tour 2026 Grand Finale in Rome.

According to Blokotech, the 2027 season will begin in Barcelona on 18 January during ICE, followed by events in Buenos Aires (15 March), São Paulo (5 April) and Malta (3 May). Mexico City and the Rome Grand Finale are listed as TBC, with Blokotech saying dates and venues for the final two stops will be announced in due course.

Beginner and Advanced draws will again be held at each stop, with the Beginner draw open to recreational players new to the sport and the Advanced draw requiring a minimum official category, the company said. Ranking points will be awarded at each tournament, with the highest-placed pairs qualifying for the Grand Finale in Rome. Blokotech said each event will be played at a private padel club, with dates spread across the year.

The company said the inaugural season has already visited Buenos Aires, Malta, Miami and Mexico City, and that the 2026 Grand Finale will take place in Rome during SiGMA World. World Cup winner and tour ambassador Marco Materazzi is set to attend, Blokotech said.

Blokotech Co-Founder and CEO Salvatore Messina said: “The first season has shown us what this series can be. Every competition brought more people from the industry onto the court, and the conversations afterwards had an energy you sometimes just don’t get standing at a booth.

“Six cities means a longer season and a real race for ranking points all the way to the Grand Finale. Barcelona in January is the perfect opener, and we cannot wait to see who turns up this time.”
