Buzz Bingo rolls out 1,000 Cisco Meraki APs in Principle Networks Wi-Fi upgrade
Buzz Bingo has completed a Wi-Fi infrastructure upgrade with IT consultancy and managed service provider Principle Networks, the companies said on 27 October 2026. The project deployed around 1,000 Cisco Meraki wireless access points across Buzz Bingo’s UK estate.
The companies said the rollout is designed to improve reliability and scalability while enabling centralised network management. The upgrade is positioned as part of Buzz Bingo’s wider transformation programme focused on modernising venues and supporting more digital customer experiences.
Principle Networks said it tailored the wireless design to individual clubs, citing varying building layouts and connectivity requirements across the portfolio. The goal, according to the companies, was to improve consistency of wireless performance while maintaining a standard approach to management across the estate.
David Cutts, Chief Technology Officer at Buzz Bingo, said: “The concept of bingo has evolved. Today, customers have a wide range of choices of how they want to play – and our omnichannel approach is unique – with technology sitting at the heart. Principle Networks demonstrated a deep understanding of our objectives and had the expertise required to deliver them.”
Russell Crowley, Co-CEO of Principle Networks commented; "For businesses operating across multiple locations, reliable connectivity is fundamental to delivering a consistent customer experience. But when every building is different, achieving that consistency requires more than simply installing new technology.
"Our work with Buzz Bingo demonstrates the importance of understanding how each location operates and designing infrastructure around its specific requirements. By modernising the wireless network across its clubs, we've helped Buzz Bingo establish a stronger foundation for its ongoing digital transformation and future innovation."
