Flows rolls out Sphere Wheel 3D spin-wheel mini-game via FlowsWave

The free-to-play title is the second FlowsWave mini-game, following TakeDown, and is designed to slot into operator reward and retention flows.

Flows has launched Sphere Wheel, a new 3D spin-wheel mini-game delivered through FlowsWave, its player-facing engagement layer.

The company said Sphere Wheel is designed as a free-to-play mechanic that can be triggered by player events and surfaced across the player journey, including rewards, missions, login bonuses, retention and wider gamification campaigns.

According to Flows, operators can configure prizes, probabilities, currency and visual styling through FlowsWave, while Flows “manages the technology, security and final outcome behind the experience.” The company also said the 3D format supports a wider range of potential outcomes and enables different visual treatments and animations for higher-value wins.

Sphere Wheel is the second mini-game to officially launch through FlowsWave, following TakeDown, Flows’ free-to-play crash game released earlier this month.

Nicola Testasecca, Product Manager for FlowsWave at Flows, said: “Spin Wheels are already a really familiar and popular mechanic with players, so with Sphere Wheel we wanted to take that experience further and give operators more ways to use it. The 3D format is well suited to mobile, maintaining high visual quality with a much wider range of prizes and outcomes. As with anything built within FlowsWave, operators can brand it, tailor it to different campaigns and connect it into the wider player journey.”
