Gaming Corps signs slots content deal with Veikkaus ahead of Finland’s 2027 reforms

Partnership starts with Gaming Corps’ slots catalogue and can expand to other game types as Finland moves to a licence-based market on 1 July 2027.

Gaming Corps has signed a content partnership with Veikkaus, Finland’s state-owned gaming operator, ahead of Finland’s shift to a competitive licence-based gambling market on 1 July 2027.

The companies said the initial launch will focus on Gaming Corps’ slots catalogue for Veikkaus players. The agreement also allows for future expansion into other content from Gaming Corps, including table, mine, plinko and multiplier games, plus proprietary products Smash4Cash™, A-MAZE-CADES™ and X-MY-WAY™.

Gaming Corps also highlighted its slots IP 3 Pigs, which it said has become one of the studio’s most popular franchises, with the characters used across different themes and gameplay styles.

Veikkaus said it serves close to 2.7 million registered customers across lottery, sports betting, iCasino and Instants, operating online via veikkaus.fi and land-based assets including Casino Helsinki and 44 gaming arcades. The partnership is positioned as part of Veikkaus’ supplier preparations as Finland ends Veikkaus’ current exclusivity in online casino and betting under the 2027 licensing model.

Graham Greensmith, Chief Commercial Officer at Gaming Corps, said: “Veikkaus is one of the most established names in European gaming, with an extraordinary reach and relationship with players in Finland. The market is now approaching one of the biggest changes in its history, so this is a particularly exciting time for us to begin working together.

“What stands out for us most is the chance to add something very different to the Veikkaus portfolio. We’ve built Gaming Corps around variety, with inventive mechanics, fresh concepts and a broad mix of gameplay experiences. That breadth can be a real advantage as competition in Finland increases.”

Riikka Seppänen, Vice President, iCasino at Veikkaus, said: “Gaming Corps has been superb to work with, delivering its content in record time and with real precision. That speed

and execution is hugely valuable to us, and their arrival comes at a great time as we continue preparing for the changes ahead in Finland.

“They bring a strong and distinctive slots portfolio that fits well with what we’re looking to achieve and we’re super excited to get the games live and in front of our players.”
