Kochi Comic Con returns January 30–31, 2027 at Adlux Convention Centre

Comic Con India, a NODWIN Gaming subsidiary, says the second edition follows a debut that drew over 20,000 attendees.

Kochi Comic Con will return on January 30–31, 2027 at Adlux International Convention Centre, with the event billed as “Maruti Suzuki presents Kochi Comic Con powered by Crunchyroll,” according to Comic Con India.

Comic Con India, a subsidiary of NODWIN Gaming, said the Kochi show is part of its push to expand beyond metro cities. The company said the inaugural Kochi Comic Con welcomed over 20,000 fans and featured comic book creator Dan Parent.

Shefali Johnson, CEO, Comic Con India, said, “Kochi has always been a city where different cultures, communities and stories come together. From its history as a port city shaped by Portuguese, Dutch, British and Chinese influences to its rich artistic and cultural landscape, the city has always embraced different forms of expression. In many ways, that is what Comic Con is all about too, bringing together different fandoms, creative communities and ways of storytelling in one space. We are excited to return for the second edition and build on the energy with an even bigger celebration of fandom.”

Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and Managing Director, NODWIN Gaming, said, "Kochi is a city where tradition and contemporary culture coexist seamlessly. From its legacy as a historic port and cultural hub to platforms like the Kochi-Muziris Biennale that have placed the city on the global creative map, there is a strong culture of curiosity and cultural exchange here. Our first edition reflected that spirit, and the response from fans reinforced the opportunity to build a larger pop-culture community in Kochi. We are excited to return and make the second edition an even more memorable experience for fans across Kerala."

Organisers said the two-day programme will include panel discussions, live performances, cosplay competitions, stand-up comedy, musical acts, gaming experiences and brand activations.
