EGT receives top recognition for its contribution to innovation and competitiveness for the second consecutive year

EGT has once again been recognized for its contribution to the innovative development and competitiveness of the Republic of Bulgaria.

For the second consecutive year, the company ranked first among the legal entities with the highest application activity within the National Map of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The recognition was presented during the official launch of the Map’s 2025 edition, held on 22 October at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia. The Certificate for Achieved Results was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Vodenicharova, Vice-Rector for Research at UNWE, and received on behalf of EGT by Jeni Koussarova, Marketing Director of the company.

“This recognition is an important assessment of the work we put into developing the company’s intellectual property and of our sustained activity in this field. It is particularly valuable that the report provides a measurable picture of the contribution of Bulgarian businesses to innovation and the country’s competitiveness. We are very pleased that this year’s results place EGT first among the companies with the highest application activity, which is an achievement we are particularly proud of.

I would like to thank UNWE and all the institutions and organizations behind the initiative, as well as the entire EGT team whose work stands behind this achievement,” said Mrs. Koussarova.

EGT Digital was also among the companies recognized during the ceremony for its achievements in the field of intellectual property.

The National Map of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Bulgaria is an annual initiative led by UNWE in partnership with national institutions and organizations. It provides a comprehensive overview of intellectual property activity in the country and highlights its role in innovation and economic competitiveness.
