Delasport goes live in Alberta with PlayBetNova.ca
The supplier extends its Betnova partnership into a second Canadian province, three months after Alberta’s regulated online market opened.
Delasport has gone live in Alberta with operator PlayBetNova.ca, expanding its work with the Betnova brand into a second Canadian province. The launch comes three months after Alberta’s regulated online gaming market opened on 13 July 2026.
Delasport said the deployment includes its full turnkey stack for PlayBetNova.ca, covering its proprietary Sportsbook, Casino, Player Account Management platform and Managed Services.
The supplier positioned Alberta as a high-upside market, pointing to iGaming Ontario’s fiscal 2024-25 results of CA$82.7 billion in wagers and CA$3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue. Delasport also cited a Government of Alberta estimate that unregulated operators account for around 70% of local iGaming activity, and said H2 Gambling Capital analysts expect the regulated market to convert that into roughly CA$1.2 billion in first-year gross gaming revenue.
Delasport said the go-live follows its AGLC registrations as a Platform Provider and Critical Gaming Systems Supplier, and builds on its Ontario footprint where its turnkey technology and Managed Services power brands including TitanPlay and Betnova.
“Going live in Alberta with PlayBetNova.ca is another milestone in Delasport’s growth across regulated markets and a major step forward in Canada,” said Oren Cohen Shwartz, Chief Executive Officer at Delasport. “Our continued growth is built on the success of our partners. Supporting their expansion with both technology and Managed Services is central to our long-term strategy, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in Canada and beyond. We’re also proud to be able to quickly enter new markets as our technology supports adapting quickly to regulatory requirements.”
