Media Troopers targets mainstream publishers for performance marketing push

Media Troopers says it is expanding its performance marketing activity beyond regulated online gambling, aiming to apply its acquisition technology and data capabilities across “mainstream media environments.”

The company said the move reflects changes in how digital audiences consume content, and pointed to the emergence of prediction markets as a driver for broadening its acquisition approach into categories that overlap with finance, politics, sports, entertainment, and news.

Media Troopers said its attendance at NEXTPredict NYC in October will be an early signal of this shift, describing the event as a gathering point for prediction markets, gaming, finance, technology, and media audiences.

“Media Troopers has spent years understanding where valuable audiences are, how to reach them efficiently, and how to measure performance across highly competitive markets,” said Shmulik Segal, CEO at Media Troopers.

“We are now applying that knowledge, together with our technology and data capabilities, to a much broader media landscape. Mainstream financial, business and news publishers are increasingly relevant acquisition channels for our customers, and we see significant opportunities to bring a performance-driven approach to those environments,” Segal continued.
