Soulcity sets Season 2 dates for Indian GTA V Rumble Invitational

48 teams will compete from Oct 17 to Nov 4 for an INR 4 lakh prize pool, with streams on KICK.

Soulcity has announced Season 2 of the Indian GTA V Rumble Invitational (IGRI), scheduled to run from October 17 to November 4. The tournament will feature 48 teams competing for an INR 4,00,000 prize pool, with matches streamed on KICK.

According to Soulcity, IGRI uses a community-driven GTA V Battle Royale format designed for creators, streamers and players from the roleplay community. The organiser is positioning Season 2 as a way to bring India’s GTA V creator community into a structured competitive circuit.

The event will include 32 registered teams and 16 invited teams across four stages: open qualifiers, group stages, semi-finals and finals. Open qualifiers run October 17 to 19, with 32 teams split into four groups of eight and 16 advancing. Group stages are set for October 23 to 25, combining qualifiers with invited teams to form a 32-team field.

Semi-finals will take place October 28 to 30, with 24 teams playing across three groups of eight in 18 matches to determine the finalists. The finals run November 2 to 4 with 16 teams in a single lobby across 18 matches, using a points system based on top-10 placements and eliminations.

Invited teams are set to include 8Bit Creatives talent and Indian GTA V streamers such as Parv Singh (Regaltos), Mrinmoy Lakhar (Mercy), Mukul Anchal (Mafia) and Monika Jeph (Sherlock). Lokesh Jain, Co-founder of 8Bit Creatives, said, “The GTA V creator community in India has grown significantly, with the success of IGRI Season 1 demonstrating the appetite for a unique format that brings creators together. As streamers continue to build their audiences and establish their identities around the game, the second season presents an opportunity to bring more creators into the spotlight. Together with KICK, we aim to make IGRI Season 2 a landmark event and create more opportunities for creators to engage with audiences through community-driven formats.”

Soulcity said Season 2 also expands 8Bit Creatives’ activity on KICK, claiming the talent agency has partnered with more than 400 GTA V creators on the platform for the tournament, following its broader partnership with KICK in India.
