Big Time Gaming launches MONOPOLY Money slot with Mr. Monopoly and 117,649 Megaways

Big Time Gaming has released MONOPOLY Money, a very high volatility online slot built around Mr. Monopoly. The game follows BTG’s MONOPOLY Rush Hour from earlier this year and runs on six Megaways™ reels with up to 117,649 ways to win.

The core mechanic is a Hold and Spin feature triggered by landing six or more Title Deed, Community Chest or Chance Cards anywhere on the reels. During the feature, each symbol position becomes a reel, and Mr. Monopoly collects any Title Deed worth the same as or less than his current value, adding it to his total. He starts with three Money Bags; spins with no new Card reduce the count by one, while each collected Card restores one, up to three.

Community Chest Cards pay a Bonus Prize of up to 2,500x stake when the round ends. Chance Cards are held until the end and convert into either a Credit Prize or a Restart, with the former added to Mr. Monopoly’s value and the latter clearing the screen and restarting the round while keeping his value. BTG said collecting Title Deeds in all eight colours triggers a MONOPOLY Bonus paying up to 2,500x stake.

Free Spins trigger on three or more Scatters for 12 spins, plus two additional spins for each extra Scatter. Mr. Monopoly enters Free Spins with a random value of up to 15x stake and remains active for the full round; each Title Deed collected increases the Megaways™ Win Multiplier by one with no stated cap. Five or more Cards at once can trigger Hold and Spin during Free Spins, and three or more Scatters add four extra spins. Mr Monopoly’s final value is paid once after the last Free Spin.

The game includes BTG’s Power Play, priced at 8x stake, which the studio said guarantees at least 10,000 Megaways™ per spin and increases the frequency of Max Megaways™, Hold and Spin and Free Spins. A Bonus Buy option offers direct entry to Hold and Spin for 60x stake or 12 Free Spins for 90x stake. MONOPOLY Money has an RTP of up to 96.58%.

Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “When most people think of MONOPOLY they picture Mr. Monopoly, so we built this game around him. He starts small and gets stronger with every Title Deed he picks up. Watching him work towards the expensive properties is where Hold and Spin gets its tension.

“We wanted the Chance and Community Chest Cards to do something players would recognise from the board game. A Restart that keeps his value is basically passing Go, and in Free Spins everything he collects feeds a multiplier that doesn’t stop climbing.”
