PokerStars Casino launches The Slotlist in Romania with ELK’s Pirots 4

PokerStars Casino has launched its The Slotlist feature in Romania, rolling out the curated, monthly “featured slot” format in the market for the first time. The company said the launch went live on October 8, with Pirots 4 selected as the first title to headline the PokerStars Casino tab.

Unlike a typical content drop, The Slotlist is positioned as a single-game spotlight each month rather than releasing large batches of new games. PokerStars Casino said the approach is designed to drive discovery around one “headline” slot at a time and support its broader casino offer in Romania.

Pirots 4 is developed by ELK Studios and runs on a 6×6 grid. PokerStars Casino said the game includes a time-based evolution mechanic and features such as the CollectR™ mechanic, an expanding grid, symbol transformations, the Space Bandit, wilds, and the Lost In Space coin game. The company also stated the slot offers a potential of up to 10,000x the bet.

“We’re excited to bring The Slotlist to Romania for the first time and continue to expand our casino offering for players in the market,” said Ed Fogarty, Associate Director of PokerStars Casino Commercial. “The Slotlist gives us the opportunity to introduce a curated selection of new and innovative games, and Pirots 4 is a particularly exciting title with its unique time-based evolution feature and in-game countdown that builds anticipation as it ticks towards zero. We’re looking forward to giving players in Romania the chance to experience the game as part of the first Slotlist launch in the market.”

Alongside the launch, PokerStars said it has started a separate campaign with EGT in Romania. The operator said players can complete daily Casino challenges by playing EGT slots to unlock rewards including Free Spins and “progressively increasing cash prizes.”
