BetBlocker hits 500,000 active users in 2026 and adds Hindi and Punjabi
BetBlocker said it has passed 500,000 active users worldwide in 2026 and has added Hindi and Punjabi language support, announcing the updates on Friday 25 September at the Signature Awards at the Park Lane Hilton in London.
The gambling harm reduction charity shared additional regional milestones with the audience, saying it had passed 10,000 active users in 2026 in both the Netherlands and India.
BetBlocker said the India growth coincides with the launch of Hindi and Punjabi support, aimed at making its service easier to access for users in Asia.
Duncan Garvie, CEO of BetBlocker, said: “It’s been a fantastic night, and the Signature Awards attendees were exceptionally generous in their support of BetBlocker. It’s fantastic to receive support from such a prestigious event and the audience were very engaged with our mission. At the start of 2026 we had no idea how rapid the growth in uptake of BetBlocker would be and our hope for the full year was to be able to pass 400k users. Being able to announce passing half million users supported in 2026 in September has exceeded our most optimistic hopes, and evidences how widespread the need for this type of support is. And this coinciding with passing 10k active users in India aligns perfectly with the extension of support to Hindi and Punjabi, which we hope will make our support even more accessible to speakers of these languages. ”
