Nordic Partners Gaming launches CS2 docuseries after acquiring roster
Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG), a Malta-based esports and gaming company, has launched a new video series following its Counter-Strike 2 team after acquiring the roster earlier this year.
NPG said the team was ranked #123 in the world at the time of acquisition and that it is aiming to break into the CS2 Top 50. The company plans to release two episodes per month on NPG’s YouTube channel covering tournament play, preparation and tactical sessions, and challenges encountered along the way. NPG said the first teaser will be released shortly after the team’s upcoming tournament in Porto, following its opening series.
NPG said the roster has secured its first series victory since the acquisition and finished 3rd–4th at Exort Fiesta Series, earning its first prize money.
Håvard Lehn, CEO of Nordic Partners Gaming, said: "What excites me about this project is giving people a real, unique look at what we're building at NPG — what it takes to become a pro, climb through the ranks and deal with the setbacks along the way. It's about the people behind the nicknames, the team dynamics, the preparation, game insights, wins, losses and everything in between. We want to show the full experience of competing, improving and growing together as a team."
NPG said the team will play the LEON.BET tournament in Porto, Portugal, from 24 to 27 September, which it said has a $30,000 prize pool, and then travel to Skövde, Sweden for ROG Journey on 2 and 3 October, which it said is a $20,000 event. Separately, NPG said it has signed Runar "Mystixx" Borge as an official Nordic Partners Gaming streamer.
