Midnite says fans win £9,000 via 2UP across Southampton, Boro and Wolves
Bookmaker’s matchday giveaway pays out after two-goal home league leads; Sheffield United pot is now £14,000.
UK bookmaker Midnite said it has paid out £9,000 to fans of Southampton, Middlesbrough and Wolves through its “2UP” initiative this season.
Under the promotion, Midnite adds £1,000 to a club’s prize pot after each home league match, and pays out to a fan if the team takes a two-goal lead in that fixture. Midnite said it is principal partner of Wolves, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United, and the official training kit partner of Southampton for the 2026/27 season.
Midnite said seven fans have won so far: four Southampton supporters won £1,000 each after the club took a two-goal lead four times; two Middlesbrough fans won £2,000 and £1,000; and one Wolves fan won £2,000. The company named the winners as Mel Linter, Dean Brown, Sue Curtis and Jayden Frankling (Southampton), Jane Edmends and Kieran Addison (Middlesbrough), and Ashley Richards (Wolves).
Midnite said the 2UP prize pot for Southampton and Middlesbrough currently stands at £2,000, while Sheffield United’s pot stands at £14,000 ahead of their next home league match. The bookmaker also referenced a similar Sheffield United campaign last season called “Brace Yourself”, adding that “As a result of no ‘Brace Yourself’ winner for Sheffield United, Midnite started the 2026/27 ‘2UP’ prize pot at a huge £10,000 with £1,000 rolling over after every home league match.”
Andrew Mook, Midnite’s Head of Brand Marketing, said: “We have seen some brilliant moments for our partner clubs in the early stages of the season, and we’re delighted that ‘2UP’ has allowed fans to share in that success.
“Seven supporters have already won a combined £9,000 simply by seeing their team take a two-goal lead in a Championship home match, which is exactly what the initiative is all about - adding even more excitement to a matchday and giving back to the fans.
“With the prize pot growing after every home league game, there are plenty more opportunities to win big throughout the season.
