Advanced Compliance Technology names Mark Dufty Head of Game Analysis
Advanced Compliance Technology (ACT) has appointed Mark Dufty as Head of Game Analysis, the company said on 25th September 2026.
Dufty brings more than 40 years of experience in racing and sports betting operations, spanning odds-making, risk management and regulatory compliance in the United States and internationally. His previous roles include Director of Trading Services at IGT, Race and Sports Director at Jerry’s Nugget, and Assistant Director at both Hard Rock and Sands Hotel and Casino, as well as leading teams in England, Australia, Curaçao, and The Bahamas.
In the newly created role, Dufty will lead ACT’s analysts reviewing game, event and integrity alerts generated by the company’s AI- and machine learning-powered compliance platform. ACT said the team will also refine the model when the technology flags potential risk, in response to emerging threats.
ACT added that Dufty’s team will continue work on its Fraud Rings tool, which produces a real-time “bubble map” to show suspicious links across devices, accounts, locations, behaviours and transactions.
Mike Venner, Director at Advanced Compliance Technology, said: “Mark’s extensive industry knowledge, operational experience and professional approach means he was perfectly suited to this newly-created role. The nature of our industry is such that more sophisticated syndicates, threats and tactics emerge constantly, and it is essential our models are constantly improving. Mark’s team will continually refine our software to deliver the most accurate and precise mapping of threats possible.”
Mark Dufty, Head of Game Analysis at Advanced Compliance Technology, said: “ACT is fast emerging as one of the most comprehensive compliance and integrity platforms for the sports and iGaming sectors. Real-time oversight is one of their core USPs, with my team ensuring this analysis of the threat landscape is accurate and trustworthy.”
