UK player wins $500,000 PokerStars Spin & Go Max jackpot from $25 buy-in

The one-in-a-million Spin & Go Max multiplier created a $650,000 prize pool shared by six players.

A UK-based PokerStars player has won $500,000 after triggering a “one-in-a-million” Spin & Go Max jackpot from a $25 buy-in, according to the operator.

The player, using the username “visiontechno”, won a six-handed Spin & Go Max tournament after the jackpot multiplier created a $650,000 prize pool. PokerStars said $500,000 went to the winner, with the remaining $150,000 paid out across all six players.

PokerStars framed the result as part of a recent run of high-value Spin & Go outcomes. The operator said that “just weeks ago” three players—UK player “Gwaugh1”, Argentina’s “Anatsuk334” and Denmark’s “dillerfar19”—each turned $5 into $1 million in separate Spin & Go tournaments, with each tournament paying out $1.2 million in total prizes.

Ashley Chase, .COM Poker Director at PokerStars, said: “The recent run of Spin & Go jackpot wins has been incredible, and visiontechno’s victory is another reminder of why these games create such memorable and exciting poker moments. One minute you can be playing a regular $25 tournament, and the next you’re competing for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Congratulations to the winner and all of the players who shared in this extraordinary jackpot.”

Spin & Go Max is PokerStars’ multi-player variant of its Spin & Go format, with up to eight players and a prize selection mechanic that is revealed via spinners before play and chosen by the eventual winner at random after the tournament ends.
