Belatra releases Penalty Blast slot with cluster pays and penalty bonus

New title adds whistles, a Goalkeeper collector mechanic and buy-bonus options tied to Free Games and an interactive shootout.

Belatra Games has released Penalty Blast, a new online slot themed around a football match and built around cascading cluster wins rather than traditional paylines.

Penalty Blast pays when five or more matching symbols connect horizontally or vertically. Winning symbols explode and are replaced via a cascade mechanic that can generate multiple wins from a single spin, according to the supplier.

A central feature is the Goalkeeper mechanic. When the Goalkeeper lands next to Ball symbols, it collects their values, multiplies the total by the bet and pays out. Ball multipliers range from x1 to x1000, but remain inactive until collected by the Goalkeeper.

The base game also includes three whistle features: the Green Whistle triggers ball movement across the grid and can lock positions or trigger an instant Goalkeeper collection; the Red Whistle removes low-paying symbols; and the Golden Whistle triggers the interactive Penalty Bonus. In the bonus, players pick one of four goal zones with different risk and payout levels: grey (x20), light blue (x50), orange (x100) and pink (x250).

Free Games trigger with four Scatters and start with 10 spins. Five Scatters add a Booster with an x2 multiplier, while six Scatters trigger “Hot Mode” with two Boosters (x2 and x3). Belatra said the Buy Bonus menu includes access to Free Games and Hot Mode, each with win potential up to 10,000x, and a standalone Penalty Bonus worth up to 250x.
