OpenBet names Nikos Konstakis CEO; Jordan Levin to become chairman
OpenBet has appointed Nikos Konstakis as chief executive officer, effective at the end of the year, the company said. Jordan Levin will transition to the role of chairman and “continue to play an active role in shaping OpenBet's long-term strategy.”
OpenBet said Konstakis has been closely involved in operational and commercial execution and in shaping the company’s strategic priorities. In the CEO role, Konstakis will lead OpenBet’s strategy and day-to-day business, with a focus on growth, product and technology priorities, according to the company.
The company said the leadership change follows a period of activity that includes its planned acquisition of OmniLogic, aimed at strengthening its lottery market position and relationships with World Lottery Association operators. OpenBet also said it processed more than 175 million bets and $3 billion wagered during the World Cup, and noted that it completed a management buyout backed by Ariel Emanuel in 2025, with participation from OpenBet executives.
Jordan Levin said: "Nikos has already been instrumental in driving the evolution of OpenBet and I have tremendous confidence in his leadership as CEO, having served in multiple and progressing senior executive positions at OpenBet. He knows our business, our customers and our technology inside out, and has played a central role in shaping our priorities and how we execute against them. Furthermore, Nikos has been a true confidante and partner in the business since coming on board over eight years ago.
"With OpenBet on a strong footing and significant opportunities ahead, I'm excited to continue supporting Nikos and the wider team as we drive the next phase of OpenBet's growth."
Konstakis said: "I want to thank Jordan for his leadership and the foundation he has built at OpenBet. It's a privilege to take on this role and lead the business at such an exciting time.
"We have an exceptional customer base, a great team and significant opportunities ahead of us. My focus will be on building on those strengths, bringing even greater pace and focus to the business and making sure we continue to set the standard in the markets we serve.
"I'm excited about what we can achieve from here and look forward to working with Jordan in his new role, and with our teams around the world, as we take OpenBet forward."
