Gamblers Connect launches Proof of Play verification for operator reviews
Gamblers Connect, an independent B2B iGaming media platform, has launched Proof of Play, a verification method designed to document real-money transactions carried out by its newsroom when testing gaming operators.
According to the company, Proof of Play records the deposit, play session and withdrawal process experienced by the Gamblers Connect team and publishes the results directly on each operator review page. Each completed test records six fields: deposit method, deposit speed, KYC trigger, withdrawal speed, withdrawal fee and a transaction reference. Where a test uses a blockchain-settled payment method, Gamblers Connect said readers can follow a link to a public explorer to independently check the record.
Gamblers Connect said the approach is intended to clarify when identity verification is required, noting that deposit requirements are typically clearer than documentation needed for withdrawals. “Operators are often clear about how to deposit, but less so about what is required to withdraw. Proof of Play addresses that gap by documenting the process our newsroom experiences, including when identity verification is required,” said Luka Dimitrijevic, Partnerships and Operations Lead at Gamblers Connect.
The first completed Proof of Play test is live on the Roobet operator page, the company said. Gamblers Connect said it is retesting existing operator pages where possible and will add Proof of Play to all new operator pages; pages awaiting a completed test will display a pending notice linking to its Proof of Play Policy.
Dimitrijevic added: “Our first test with Roobet found that basic personal details were sufficient to deposit, while government-issued ID was required to withdraw. This is a factual record of one test, not an endorsement or criticism of the operator. Our aim is to give readers transparent findings they can independently verify.” Gamblers Connect said Proof of Play carries no affiliate links, promotes no bonuses and does not refer players to operators, and that each record reflects the outcome of a specific test at a point in time.
