DragonBet picks BVGroup’s BV:360 for sportsbook and casino migration
DragonBet has signed a long-term technology partnership with BVGroup to migrate its online sportsbook and casino operations to the BV:360 platform, with launch planned for Q1 2027.
Under the agreement, DragonBet will use BVGroup’s sportsbook, casino, player account management, payments and compliance capabilities. The companies said DragonBet will retain control of areas tied to its customer proposition, brand and regulatory operations.
DragonBet, founded by brothers David and James Lovell, launched online in 2022 and traces its roots to the family’s racecourse bookmaking business. BVGroup said DragonBet will become a flagship partner on BV:360 as it expands its B2B platform strategy for independently licensed operators.
David Lovell, CEO and Co-Founder of DragonBet, said:
“This is a landmark agreement for DragonBet and an important investment in the long-term future of our business.
We have ambitious plans for the next stage of our growth and recognised that achieving those ambitions requires continued investment in the technology and infrastructure that sits behind DragonBet. After an extensive evaluation process, we believe BVGroup provides the platform, capability and long-term roadmap to support those ambitions.
Just as importantly, this partnership allows DragonBet to remain DragonBet. We retain the independence, identity and entrepreneurial approach that have driven our growth to date, while investing in a platform that gives us the foundations to scale for many years to come.”
Eoin Ryan, B2B Director of BVGroup, said:
“DragonBet has built one of the UK’s most distinctive independent betting brands, backed by an experienced management team and a clear long-term vision. From our earliest discussions, it was clear that both businesses share a similar philosophy of combining entrepreneurial thinking with sustained investment in technology.
We are delighted that DragonBet has selected BVGroup to support the next phase of its journey. This partnership is an important milestone in the continued development of our B2B strategy and demonstrates the strength and flexibility of the BV:360 platform. We look forward to working closely with David, James and the wider DragonBet team as we continue to evolve the platform together.”
BVGroup said the migration programme is now underway, with both organisations working toward the planned Q1 2027 go-live.
