Flows launches TakeDown, a free-to-play NFL-themed crash game for operators

First title released via FlowsWave, designed to be triggered by player events and used in missions, login bonuses and anti-churn flows.

Flows has launched TakeDown, a free-to-play NFL-themed crash game delivered through its player-facing engagement layer, FlowsWave.

The company said TakeDown is already live and “delivering strong early results through testing”, and can be triggered by player events and surfaced in-game or at different points across the player journey. Flows positioned the product for retention and engagement use cases including anti-churn campaigns, missions, login rewards and broader gamification.

According to Flows, operators can customise TakeDown to match their brand, campaign and audience via FlowsWave, while Flows handles the underlying technology and security. The company added that FlowsWave works alongside an operator’s existing technology and content, allowing teams to deploy new player-facing experiences without rebuilding the underlying game or wider platform.

Andrew Doublesin, CPO at Flows, said: “Crash games have become a major part of the market and TakeDown is a great example of what we can now bring to operators through FlowsWave. We can take a client idea, build around a game style players already know and get it live quickly, fully branded and connected to the wider player journey. Because it’s free-to-play, operators can use it across retention, missions, login bonuses and gamification while Flows handles the technology and security behind the experience. Having seen great results through testing we’re excited to offer it to operators across the industry.”

Flows said TakeDown is the first crash game to launch through FlowsWave, with more titles and game formats planned. The game will be available to play at SBC Summit in Lisbon from 29 September to 1 October at Hall 2, Stand B643.
