BETESE Aviator goes live with QTech platform in Gambia, plans casino and sportsbook rollout

BETESE Aviator has gone live in Gambia with QTech’s aggregation platform, with the operator planning to expand beyond its crash-games roots into broader casino and sportsbook content. The companies announced the partnership on 17 September 2026.

BETESE Aviator said it has seen “strong upticks in turnover, player engagement, and retention metrics” since integrating with QTech earlier this year, after initially building its offer around crash games led by Aviator. The operator subsequently added instant-win content and ran crash-game tournaments sourced from QTech’s portfolio, which it said helped acquisition and retention exceed internal projections.

QTech said the deal marks an expansion of its African footprint into Gambia and positions BETESE Aviator to add more casino and sportsbook content in coming months, alongside analytics and campaign tooling. The release also highlighted lightweight and localised casino content aimed at markets where handset quality, network access, and data costs can affect gameplay.

On the sportsbook side, QTech said it can provide access to multiple sportsbook options, including BETBY and Song88. BETESE Aviator said it is looking to deploy sportsbook functionality in its retail estate of street terminals in Gambia, where accumulator bets on football are popular and a 10-team (1x2) “acca” is the average multi-leg bet placed.

Joel Anyaegbu, Account Manager for the Region said: “It’s a real thrill to have been selected by a brand as innovative and forward-thinking as BETESE Aviator, and to be entrusted with scaling their operations across Africa. We place a premium on understanding markets at a hyper-local level to carve out a path to success in this evolving ecosystem.

“Indeed, staying local must remain paramount - whether it’s a mobile channel or a street terminal. In high-growth regions like Gambia, content diversity matters enormously because player demand evolves very quickly - and it’s also shaped by local realities such as mobile usage, data costs, device types, and payment preferences. As BETESE Aviator has found to their benefit, QTech is alive and alert to navigating these shifting sands. Together, we are also proving that innovative promotional mechanics can amplify the performance of already successful games, while deriving deeper engagement from the player and greater value to both the operator and the content provider in terms of player loyalty and retention, especially when it comes to the key metric of life-time value.

“It’s great to see BETESE adopting QTech’s new multi-sportsbook approach, within an active product suite fronted by some top-tier names, like BETBY and Song88. Naturally, football reigns supreme for initial player engagement when it comes to gambling in Africa, where the vast majority of all sports wagers are on various football leagues, with the English Premier League top of the list. Consequently, we will also be exploring the latest cross-sell techniques between sportsbook and casino.”

Gregory Agofure, CEO of BETESE Aviator, added: “BETESE Aviator is dedicated to corralling the best market-leading games and sports betting opportunities, and aligning them with the best of Gambian culture. And this collaboration with QTech achieves that over both our digital and retail kiosk channels. QTech understand that our customers expect the best gaming experience possible, and their local know-how and cutting-edge technology, allied to a collaborative way of working, have put us in pole position to navigate evolving demands in both casino and sportsbook, not to mention the pivotal cross-sell between these two pillars.

“As with many operators in the African space, Aviator provided the catalytic moment for growth for us, and we were quick to build out our crash and instant win games from there in what has quickly become a vital segment of any igaming portfolio. This genre routinely punches above its weight, and has almost become its own mini-vertical for us with instant win. Elsewhere, we’re learning that well-curated gamification features, such as live leaderboards and rewards, alongside genuine innovation like sportsbook cashout, boost online hangtime and deliver excellent margin.

“QTech offer a single technical and commercial gateway to the broadest portfolio of content, so we look forward to turning the next page in this unfolding success story.”
