Big Time Gaming launches Extra Chilli More Chilli first with Casino Barcelona

The Megaways sequel goes live in Spain on 16 September, one week ahead of wider release.

Big Time Gaming (BTG) is launching Extra Chilli More Chilli exclusively with Casino Barcelona in Spain on 16 September, ahead of a wider release scheduled for a week later.

The slot revisits BTG’s Extra Chilli and runs on the supplier’s Megaways™ engine, offering up to 117,649 ways to win. The new version adds “Chilli Bonus Respins” in the base game, where each spin can trigger one of four modifiers: Duplicate Wild, Increased Ways, Double Multiplier, and Chilli Wild.

The title also includes a Free Spins feature triggered by three “HOT” Scatters, awarding 10 Free Spins and at least one guaranteed Chilli Bonus. Additional Scatters can add more Chilli Bonuses up to four at once, with further Scatters adding extra Free Spins. BTG said an unlimited win multiplier increases with every reaction during the round, and Scatters can also land on the Extra Reel to award additional Free Spins.

A Free Spins Gamble Wheel lets players risk current winnings to add more Chilli Bonuses, with a COLLECT option to bank results. BTG is also offering two paid feature options: Bonus Buy (10 Free Spins for 100x the original stake) and Power Play (increased Chilli Bonus Respin frequency for 5x the stake).

Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “Extra Chilli has a special place in our catalogue and in the wider Megaways™ story, so returning to it was never going to be a case of simply adding a feature and calling it a sequel. We wanted every base game spin to carry the promise of something exciting happening.

“The four Chilli Bonuses give players variety they can feel from one spin to the next, and the Gamble Wheel puts a genuinely challenging choice in front of them before the bonus even begins. It’s a hotter, bolder version of a game people already love.”
