OpenBet agrees to acquire OmniLogic to expand lottery sportsbook footprint
OpenBet has reached an agreement to acquire sportsbook technology provider OmniLogic, with the transaction expected to complete later in 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
OpenBet said the deal is designed to expand its footprint across regulated lottery markets by adding OmniLogic’s operator partnerships and sportsbook expertise. The company said it will also strengthen its sports betting and platform offering for World Lottery Association (WLA) members.
OmniLogic has provided sportsbook technology services to regulated lottery operators and WLA members for more than a decade, according to the companies. Its platform supports omnichannel betting across retail, online and mobile, including trading, risk management and back-office functionality, with deployments across EMEA.
As part of the acquisition, OmniLogic’s team—based principally in Győr, Hungary—will join OpenBet. Nikos Konstakis, President at OpenBet, said: “OpenBet has built its leadership position by partnering with leading operators in the world’s most demanding regulated markets, and this acquisition is a natural extension of that strategy. It adds proven technology, specialist expertise and established customer partnerships that complement our existing capabilities and strengthen our global business.
“Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy, and OmniLogic has built a strong reputation in this sector through long-standing customer partnerships and a deep understanding of their requirements. Bringing that expertise into OpenBet further strengthens our position in the global lottery market.
“We look forward to welcoming the OmniLogic team to OpenBet and building on the strong foundations they have created.”
OmniLogic co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor said: “Our focus has always been on providing our customers with reliable technology, deep expertise and long-term partnership. Joining OpenBet gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation as part of one of the world’s leading sportsbook businesses.
“For our customers, it brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio of OpenBet, while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today. For our team, it creates an exciting opportunity to become part of a global organisation with a strong commitment to the lottery sector.”
