BGaming launches Johnny vs Chicken duel slot built around studio characters

New 5×5 grid title adds a Duel feature, character voice lines, and four Buy Bonus options.

BGaming has released Johnny vs Chicken, a new Wild West-themed slot that brings together the studio’s Johnny Cash character and the sheriff from Chicken Rush in a head-to-head duel format.

The game runs on a 5×5 grid and centres on a Duel feature. It triggers when a VS symbol lands alongside a win, after which the symbol expands into a full-reel Wild and plays an animated showdown. BGaming said the duel can award a multiplier of up to ×100.

BGaming also highlighted “industry-first voiced exchanges” between the two characters, which appear during in-play events. The company positions the added dialogue as a way to make the rivalry more personal and support streamer-friendly moments.

Johnny vs Chicken includes four Buy Bonus options—Chance ×2, Hot Shot, Flaming Shot, and Inferno Shot—described as Free Spins variants with upgrades such as random Sticky Wilds and a guaranteed first-spin duel. BGaming lists a maximum win of ×5,000, RTP of 97%, and medium-high volatility.
