Games Global enters Alberta iGaming market with AGLC licence

Supplier brings slot titles and live casino tables to Canada’s second regulated iGaming jurisdiction after Ontario.

Games Global has entered Alberta’s newly regulated iGaming market after securing a licence from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission.

The move follows the official opening of Alberta’s iGaming market, making it Canada’s second regulated jurisdiction after Ontario.

Games Global said it will roll out slot content in Alberta including Gold Blitz™, 12 Masks of Fire™ and Fishin’ Pots of Gold™. The supplier also plans to offer “premium tables” already distributed in Canada through its exclusive live casino partner, OnAir Entertainment™.

Mark MacCombie, Chief Commercial Officer, Games Global, said: “The opening of Alberta’s iGaming market is an exciting opportunity for Games Global. We have already established a strong presence in Ontario, where our content has proven resonant with players, and we are confident Alberta will build on this momentum.

“North America remains a key strategic focus for us, and we will continue to work closely with both our valued operator partners and our exclusive studios to deliver exceptional gaming experiences to players across the continent’s regulated markets.”
