Intro.community names iGaming and media veterans to board ahead of invite-only launch

David Flynn becomes chairman as the firm confirms 26 investors across 11 countries before a wider autumn rollout.

Intro.community Inc. has confirmed a board and investor line-up spanning iGaming, sports media and Nordic banking ahead of opening its professional network more widely this autumn on an invite-only basis.

David Flynn, whose career includes board and C-level roles at LCKY Group, Microgaming, NYX Gaming Group and Solance, has been appointed chairman. Britt Boeskov, formerly Chief Experience Officer at Kindred Group, has joined the board alongside her existing board positions at Better Collective, Mindway.ai, GAMING1 and MAG Interactive.

Also joining are Danny Keens, previously SVP Sports & Media Partnerships at Twitter and before that ESPN and 60 Minutes, and Erik M. Throndsen, recently retired Regional Director at SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge.

Flynn said the company has “26 investors across eleven countries,” adding: “Intro has already proven that warm introductions work best for business and this is how we have grown our investor base at such an early stage. We anticipate that this will only continue to rapidly grow as we look to launch more extensively later in the year.”

Founder and CEO Øyvind Kvamme-Vik positioned the network around verified trust and access: "As AI floods the digital world with automated spam, real human trust becomes the ultimate premium," he said. "You cannot reach anyone here unless somebody vouches for you. AI maps the route, but humans open the door. That constraint is the product." The company said it is targeting founders, investors, commercial leaders and recruiters, which it estimates represent a global reach of 50 million people.
