EGT secures UAE gaming-related vendor license from GCGRA
License allows Euro Games Technology to supply land-based gaming products to licensed operators in the UAE.
Euro Games Technology (EGT) has been granted a Gaming Related Vendor License by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) of the United Arab Emirates, allowing the supplier to provide its land-based gaming portfolio to licensed operators in the country.
The approval positions EGT to participate as the UAE builds out its commercial gaming framework, a market that has drawn increasing attention from international suppliers and operators as regulatory requirements take shape.
"The UAE represents one of the most closely watched emerging gaming jurisdictions worldwide. Receiving this license reflects EGT's longstanding commitment to regulatory compliance, product quality and responsible business practices. It also enables us to participate in a market with significant long-term potential, where we believe our technology, manufacturing expertise and customer-focused approach can deliver real value to future licensed operator partners," said Nadia Popova, Chief Revenue Officer and Vice President of Sales & Marketing at EGT.
She added: "We wish to thank the team at the GCGRA for its professionalism throughout and our lawyers WH Partners for their invaluable support in guiding us through the licensing process."
EGT said its products are installed in more than 100 countries and described the UAE license as part of its wider push across regulated markets.
