PokerStars logs third $1m Spin & Go jackpot winner in weeks

PokerStars says a third player has hit a $1,000,000 Spin & Go jackpot in recent weeks, turning a $5 buy-in into a seven-figure payout.

The latest winner, ‘Gwaugh1’ from the UK, beat ‘Kepes897’ from Hungary and ‘g3treal’ from Denmark to take the top prize in a game that PokerStars says lasted 18 minutes. ‘Kepes897’ received $120,000 for second place and ‘g3treal’ won $80,000 for third.

According to PokerStars, ‘Gwaugh1’ joins Danish player 'dillerfar19' and 'Anatsuk334' from Argentina as $1 million Spin & Go winners over the past month.

Spin & Go tournaments are PokerStars’ three-player, hyper-turbo Sit & Go formats with randomly drawn prize pools, offered in Hold’em and Omaha. PokerStars said buy-ins start at $0.50 and that the $5 buy-in includes the chance to win a $1 million top prize.
