Behind The Gloves brings trading card hunt to SBC Summit Lisbon for Midnight Mayhem

The charity boxing night returns in Barcelona on 19 January 2027, with Betsson and ComeOn Group backing and a €200,000 fundraising target.

Behind The Gloves will roll out a new on-floor activation at SBC Summit Lisbon starting 29 September, using a limited-run trading card collection to promote its 2027 charity boxing event, Midnight Mayhem.

At the show, the company will distribute 1,000 free packs of the “Midnight Mayhem Fight Card Collection”, with six cards per pack. The set features 25 people “from across the campaign”, each rated out of 100 across multiple categories. Two cards are designed to be deliberately rare, meaning only 10 complete collections can exist. Attendees who complete the full 25-card set and present it to Behind The Gloves can claim a VIP table at Midnight Mayhem, valued at €6,500, according to the company.

Midnight Mayhem is scheduled for Tuesday 19th January 2027 at La Paloma in Barcelona. Behind The Gloves said the charity fight night will feature 20 iGaming figures across 10 bouts and is targeting more than €200,000 in fundraising, supporting 25 charitable causes through a mix of core partners and fighter-selected charities.

The company also said major operators Betsson and ComeOn Group have committed to support the initiative. Lee McFarland, Founder of Behind The Gloves, said: “Midnight Mayhem was never supposed to be just another industry party with a boxing ring in the middle of it.

“We want to create one of those nights people are still talking about years later – but underneath all of the theatre, entertainment and madness there has to be a purpose. We now have 20 people from our industry preparing to step into a ring across 10 bouts, each of them fighting for something much bigger than themselves.

“To already have major operators such as Betsson and ComeOn Group committing to attend shows us that the industry is getting behind what we’re trying to achieve. Our target is now to generate more than €200,000 for charity, create meaningful awareness for 25 causes and show what can happen when this industry comes together to do some good.

“And before we get to Barcelona, we’re going to cause a little bit of chaos in Lisbon with the Fight Card Collection. With only ten of the rarest cards in existence, I expect SBC to turn into one enormous trading floor.”

Behind The Gloves said Midnight Mayhem is affiliated with WBC Cares UK, part of the World Boxing Council’s charitable movement, and positioned the campaign as using boxing to support community, inclusion, wellbeing and social impact.
